How are the students affected in this pandemic situation??
This is a genuine concern in everyone`s mind, as we all know that the educational institutions have opted for online mode of teaching. But how much fruitful is this method.
There are lots of debates going on and lots of issues faced by students and their parents as well. These institutions usually charge a huge amount as fees from the students to provide a better environment and education. As all the students have confined themselves to their houses and can't go to colleges/schools, these institutions haven't reduced the fees even 10% and they are not incuring any costs for electricity, buses, library, house keeping and all.
On the other hand the students have to pay the fees as well as incur all the additional costs of using the electricity and WiFi facility for the online class. Keeping this aside while the lecture is going on, there are many technical issues faced and information is distorted and sometimes students face power cuts and they miss out the sessions.
. The parents need to constantly be around their children in case they are not being attentive in the class and it becomes difficult for the lecturer/ teacher to anyalse whether all have understood the class or not.just because the education institutions need to earn money they can't go on conducting the classes in this format. Education being the top priority for everyone taking advantage of that and doing a business by providing insufficient mode of learning and training to the students, there is not going to be any appropriate outcomes from either end by following this. We are still at an impasse on how to carry forward the education process and its better to wait till there is any reduction of corona cases and normal life gets back on with better safeguard mechanisms in place.
